General Conditions of Funding
FY10 Vision Fund Awards
- Written acceptance of the award (and conditions) must be sent to Academic
Affairs, 312 Warriner, prior to the deadline given in
the award letter. This acceptance must also be signed
by the Senior Officer or Academic Senate Chair who
initially forwarded the proposal.
- Annual reports must be received prior to July 1 each
year of funding, beginning one year after initial
funding. So, for example, for the spring round of
FY10 funding, reports are due before July 1, 2010.
- Continuation of CMU
2010 funding beyond the first year requires satisfactory
progress on project objectives as outlined in the
original proposal and further clarified in the
Evaluation Summary and documented in annual reports.
- Project leaders must be
willing to provide information on project progress to
the ISPC, and the ISPC’s Communications Committee or
designated media representatives.
- Project leaders must
provide timely documentation of all expenditures and
comply with CMU policies when making all those
expenditures. Written prior approval must be obtained
for expenditures that deviate from the initial project
proposal. Invoices should be submitted to Academic
Affairs, 312 Warriner.
- If alternative funding
becomes available for a project, it is expected those
funds will be used and notification of the provost occur
immediately so CMU 2010 funds can be reallocated.
- CMU 2010 funding should
be acknowledged in all presentations and documents emerging
from the project.
