Great institutions are built upon a solid foundation of core values that serves as the moral compass for governance and decision-making.  CMU commits to strengthening its culture of integrity by modeling and upholding the values of trust, respect, and civility.

 

Strategy 1: 

Define and uphold standards of academic and professional responsibility and model respect and civility.

 

Strategy 2: 

Increase the effectiveness of shared governance through communication, consultation, and participatory decision-making.

Provide infrastructure and resources sufficient to advance the institutional mission and priorities.
