RFP

Request for Proposals. Specific deadlines that are set for submission of funding requests for projects that address existing priorities and strategies as outlined in CMU 2010.

ISPC

Institutional Strategic Planning Committee. A 20-person committee made up of five priority committees, each addressing one aspect of Vision 2010. The ISPC reviews funding proposals and makes recommendations to President Michael Rao.

KPI

Key Performance Indicators. Between three and five summary measures that determine the extent to which a particular goal or priority has been met. These summary measures best describe the overall progress in each priority area. Following a preliminary KPI draft review by the ISPC, priority committees, and vice presidents, a final draft of the KPI is expected to be available in early 2007.
