DEFINITION - KPI 13
Expenditures are also important figures to consider when monitoring progress in support of research. Although this figure is not always at a constant level, it provides an estimate of how much funding was available to apply towards research-based endeavors.
According to the Financial Report under the functional class “Research”, funding as a percentage of CMU total fund dollars decreased from 2.07% in FY05 to 1.52% in FY06, and even further to 1.43% in FY07.
