KPI 6 - Faculty from underrepresented groups
Faculty from Underrepresented Groups is a measure at CMU that:

Examines tenured and tenure-track faculty only.

Includes individuals that are African American, Native American/Alaskan Native, Asian/Pacific Islander, and/or Hispanic.
TARGET

We strive to increase to 18% of faculty that are from underrepresented groups by 2010.

UPDATE: In FY09, we have achieved this goal; 18.1% of regular faculty at CMU are members of an underrepresented group!
