Next Steps
ISPC has used the information collected last fall to develop the strategic directions position papers originally posted in February 2009. By July, a solid draft of the next plan will be presented to the Board of Trustees by the Provost. From there, it is our hope that our draft of the next plan will provide future presidential candidates to get a sense of where CMU would like to be over the next five years. Consequently, the plan will help us discover outstanding leadership with similar aspirations to our own. Over the course of the 2009-10 academic year, the next president will then finalize the new plan with the assistance of the university community.
