2010 Survey Results
The CMU 2010 Communications Survey was administered from March 29 – April 9, 2007, to Campus Leaders and April 11- April 26, 2007, to the Faculty and Staff population.
-
Thirty-seven (37) responses out of 100 invitations to participate generated an overall response rate of 37.0% for Campus Leaders. Members of this category included Department Chairs, Deans, Associate Deans, Directors, and Senior Officers.
- In contrast, only 217 of approximately 2417 Faculty and Staff members responded (8.7% response rate). This group consisted of all other employees on campus.
Although several reminders were distributed encouraging faculty and staff participation, it is important to acknowledge the limitation created with such a low response rate and interpret the results for that group accordingly.
